Caroline A. Rivas is a Franco-Colombian singer-songwriter. Daughter of the great Colombian accordionist Antonio Rivas, she started playing music at the age of 5, and at age 10, won the European Championship for Accordion. At age 11, she switches to piano, and enters the Conservatories of Gap, Marseille and Montpellier. In 2006, she began castings and musical springboards, and recorded 2 singles in Paris before discovering the Caribbean in 2010, and moving to Martinique. A unique mix, she is the only one to offer a mixed Caribbean/Latin music in piano and a traditional French accordion repertoire. She is now based in Saint-Martin, and performs in the many Caribbean islands, as well as in Europe. “A passionate, fascinating, original and attractive artist.” (V.D journal 97150 St Martin)
