Equal parts comedy and theatre-pop spectacle, it blurs the line between man-child and beast with playful beats and theatrical flair. About Lalit Sritara: Born in Bangkok, emotionally raised by musicals and softly indoctrinated in England, Lalit makes playful theatre-pop for people with too many feelings at once. Currently based in NYC/NJ!
She was the first Thai wordsperson in the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and a recipient of the Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship, the Summer Song Theater Festival Artist Development Grant and the Maestra Musical Writers Festival Scholarship. Her works have been featured in NYC, Texas and Bangkok, e.g. The Cutting Room, the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, and The Red Eye (Musical Theatre Factory), Bangkok Design Week, Bangkok Theatre Festival, TIMELINE the Musical, BANGKOKIAN and more.
Taylor Wendell Lozano is a composer-lyricist based in Jersey City, New Jersey, invested in bringing science fiction into staged theatrical spaces. Taylor holds an MFA in Musical Theater Composition from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
Taylor was a winner of the KCATCF Region VIII 10 minute playwriting competition for “Horizons.” His musical, “Andy, the Creator” was mounted by his classmates at the Cal Poly Theatre and Dance, and has a staged development at the Empty Space Theatre in CA. “The Giant Child,” was performed at Frigid Theatre NYC. Selections from his original score for “Humanity the Musical”, was featured at the Cutting Room in New York. His original albums, “Let’s Be Human” and “Doody on the Dance Floor” can be found on Spotify and Apple Music.
