He has worked and produced with various unknown and well-known artists and worked as a remixer. With in the late eightys of his productions with Anthony Rother ,T.F.D. Crew made his debut in 1988 with the 12″ single Broken Hearts/I Want You on his first Label Cold Effect Records. The song “I Want You” was subsequently compiled on the Rough Trade Germany compilation Body Rhythm Dance (1989). Danny Merriman was born in Nottingham, UK on Jan 18, 1967, and started singing and playing bass in 1986, inspired by Bob Marley, Sting, Jack Bruce, Mark King, Larry Graham, Louis Johnson and Paul McCartney.
