The title track off his upcoming album, Damien Q’s soaring vocals and pointedly honest lyrics combine with a creative and unexpected beat to deliver a soulful electro-rock existential ballad. Damien Q has demonstrated his artfulness in playing across many genres, as the lyricist of Path to My Soul, a collaborative concept album with Turkish composer, Spidervis and his joint work with Psybient composer J.M. Kotter on the Il Fuzz Project. His continued solo work suggests he will continue to press these form boundaries while cleverly packaging it all in relatable and catchy songs.
