Thelen Creative – Ruby Tuesday

Nor-Cal digital content collective Thelen Creative has produced an upbeat retro take on the Rolling Stones classic track, “Ruby Tuesday,” available now on all streaming platforms. The indie collectives’ version of the 1967 release is a straight-forward drum-heavy Elvis Costello meets Rick Springfield in your parents garage jam. The lyrics are most likely written about ‘60s fashion model Linda Keith, who introduced Jimi Hendrix to his manager and was later the subject of the Hendrix song, Red House. Thelen Creatives’ straight forward take is raw but clean and sounds like a good summer party playlist add having already generated 10k+ streams in its first week on Soundcloud.
