It’s a song that has a strong focus on lyricism, and paints a picture of his path/journey as an artist/entrepreneur. The song is also accompanied by some cinematic visuals captured & Edited by “Da Kid T” of @usomfilms. The song is a bit of a hustlers anthem, and an ode to people who take the road less traveled.
Halfcut is a rapper/emcee hailing from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. As one of the city’s hip-hop vets, he’s helped professionalize the scene and inject it with some much-needed consistency. He’s worked with many respected artist over the years (Merkules, Rusty Juxx, Chris Rivers, Hex-One, to name a few), and has shared the stage with the likes of Talib Qweli, Freddie Gibbs, J Cole , De la Soul, and many many more legendary artists. Halfcut’s refined delivery and ear for quality beats is what puts him ahead of the pack. He’s a chill emcee but don’t mistake it for caution, he knows his lane and excels in it.

Golde is an up-and-coming rapper from Washington just outside of the Seattle area, claiming to have much more content to drop throughout the summer.
“It’s that shit I wanna say but I can’t say right now.” Holy Smoke Records’ artists Beazie and Hiroschema lay down a compelling gangsta rap narrative track blending dirty south with Florida rap vibes. From the opening looping synth of a mellow electronic piano loop with guitar grazes and snare pops, at around 20 seconds in the hard-hitting boom bap kick and snare interplay enters together with Beazie’s raw grit vocal delivery with his semiquavering flows that lead to an emphasized final word line after line. Hiroschema continues in a similar rhythmic style, keeping the song’s continuity flowing without any standout gestures, with his uniqueness becoming expressed in his lower-register vocal range and delays on his emphasized final words in every line he spits.
The rappers’ rawness communicates strongly as both Beazie and Hiroschema focus on the story their telling over any wordplay or other lyrical tactics. The hook at around 1:30 barely sounds like a hook, but their realness is kept in tact as they show no intention of giving the listeners any candy, just the truth of what they want to tell: a story about old friends turning into enemies, wanting to go on and on about it but choosing not to in order to not be snitches and breaking street code.

O Racks and Don Q’s new Street Banger “Get It,” produced by G Herbo’s main DJ and Producer, DJ Victoriouz. “Get It” has the streets buzzing from New York to California. Both artists are from New York. O Racks, owner and CEO of Tree Gang Entertainment, from Hempstead, Long Island & Don Q, of HighBridge Entertainment, from The Bronx. While Dutch remains true to his underground roots on the production side (lo-fi sampling, deep sub bass, wavy synths & pads), he brings an unapologetically honest and raw vocal element to his new music (drawing from early 2000s emo/hardcore, alternative RNB, and modern hip-hop).
