HighRise’s (@highrisenation) latest single, “Hunnit” features upcoming rappers, Yaydo (Minnesota) and Hi-Rez (Florida), and uses witty lyrics to break down the number 100. Recorded in their respective states (HighRise – Iowa) this dark, Hip-Hop/Trap song was produced by LX Xander of Ghostcraft.

HighRise is an accomplished artist from Des Moines, IA. featuring a unique style. Most known for The Red Room with indie juggernaut Hopsin, HighRise has also appeared alongside Royce da 5’9″ (D. Lynch album, 1985) and Florida upcomer Hi-Rez (Hunnit). Amidst the singles he has already released, HighRise is currently working on his debut EP to be released in 2019, as well as a remix of Alien Ant Farm’s “Smooth Criminal” with Dark Hip Hop producer LX Xander, to be released through LA label, Cleopatra (DMX, Queensryche).

“Love Like Paris” is the latest single by Prometheus The Titan (@Prometheus_TTAN), released on January 2, 2019. The beat is produced by anywaywell productions and is different from his usual darker style, featuring more upbeat tones and acoustic instrumentation to bring a cinematic vibe. Vocals are mixed and mastered by Prometheus The Titan, as well as the cover art design.

Prometheus The Titan is a trap/trapsoul fusion artist currently based on Canada’s West Coast in Victoria and Vancouver while attending University, and who was raised in Zimbabwe, Belgium and Brazil. Prometheus The Titan’s style is similar to Travis Scott, Tory Lanez, Jazz Cartier and Derek Wise. He mixes his own vocals. He’s a self taught artist, and has been previously featured on Spotify’s Northern Bars playlist for best hip hop coming out of Canada with his single “Dasani.”

Ground Broken (@groundbroken) has officially released their newest video “Blunt Afta Blunt” recorded in the heart of Denver’s own Crush Walls Graffiti Festival. While filming this smoker’s anthem attracted both music and art lovers from every direction as onlookers began bobbing their heads and moving to the fresh new sound. “Hip Hop and cannabis go hand in hand” said Surreal “and what better place to blend the two then right here, in the home of the homegrown.”

While Colorado became the first state to legalize recreational marijuana in 2014, Ground Broken already had deep roots in blending the cannabis industry with home grown hip hop.

“Blunt Afta Blunt” is the second single off the newly released album The Foundation and features Surreal, Escro, and debut recording artist Darekt. Originating as freestyle emcees in the Colorado party scene, this duo has come a long way from rocking house shows to cultivating an original sound and a die hard fan base. Their newest video displays a blend of graffiti, lyricism, and humor tied together with some vintage imagery. Gritty, witty, and visually entertaining “Blunt Afta Blunt” is an instant classic that would make Snoop Dogg want to jump in rotation and light up another one.

Agent 07 (@agnt_07) is a songwriter, producer and lyricist who lives in Los Angeles, CA, born in Nigeria and raised in Italy. “New Energy” is a song, where in Agent 07’s words: “My friend decides to use my laptop to mess around recording on a previous beat I’ve made months ago. As he does what he’s doing, he then comes up with a hook/chorus he loved so much he couldn’t wait for me to hear it. I come home from work to listen to the hook, and it definitely got me hooked. I rush to go grab a pen and paper and immediately wrote and recorded the verse in less than 20 minutes.” In addition to his own music, Agent 07 also produces for other artists.

Cab’s (@CABxSMH) new album Chosen is a high octane, substance filled rap project that fills the void of rap music with purpose and playback value. Cab is a rap artist from Lafayette AL. This is his second major project in the midst of rising in the independent ranks.
